Provisional Improvement Notice Training (PIN) 3hrs
The Provisional Improvement Notice (PIN) was introduced into the Workplace Health and Safety Legislation in 2009 to assist and empower Workplace Health and Safety Representatives (WHSR) in the resolution of safety issues. Up until this time a WHSR was entitled to ask an inspector to review a workplace issue, however now a WHSR has the power to issue a notice.

Attending workplace inspections and interviews associated with suspected contraventions

Apply appropriate techniques when representing workers and consulting with management

Communicate with WHSQ inspectors in the process of formalizing or discharging Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs).
