Objectives

This course aims to define bullying and harassment, how legislation is applied, what to do in the workforce, being proactive in its identification and where to get help and advice.
 

On completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Define violence, bullying and harassment explain its significance as an OHS issue

  • Outline the effects of violence, bullying and harassment on the individuals performance and the workplace

  • Identify stressors in the workplace

  • List strategies for the management of workplace violence and bullying

  • Legal options

  • Who to contact for further information on the subject
