NSCA Member of the Year

This award forms part of the National Safety Awards of Excellence and is available to NSCA Members only who demonstrate commitment and leadership to the implementation of a health and safety or environmental management system or project and have developed practices that reduce the risk of work-related injury and disease.
The following assessment criteria is used to evaluate the award submissions in this category:

How does your organisation guarantee that all employees and contractors are competent to fulfil their roles in the management of OHS and/or environment?

How does your organisation ensure that OHS and/or environmental information is communicated effectively within and beyond the organisation?

How does your organisation review its OHS and/or environmental performance periodically to assess progress against targets, set new priorities and report to internal and external stakeholders?

How does your organisation ensure that planning for OHS and/or environment is integrated effectively into business planning processes, using risk assessment to identify appropriate control measures, set key performance indicators and targets?
- Which features of your organisation’s approach to OHS and/or environment are you particularly proud of and why, eg. evidence of innovation, OHS and/or environment initiatives?
