2009 Ceremony

The National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) announced the winners of the 2009 NSCA/ExxonMobil Group National Safety Awards of Excellence at a gala lunch yesterday at Dockside, Sydney.

The national awards are held annually by the NSCA to recognise outstanding workplace safety initiatives and in this its 17th year, is pleased to announce CRT Group as this year’s overall winner of the ExxonMobil Award for Excellence in Occupational Health & Safety.

Other award winners included:

Favour Software Best Implementation of a Specific OHS Management System Award

Winner: Goodman Fielder Field Sales, Baking

Highly Commended: Crowne Plaza Canberra
Finalists
:Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Intercontinental Hotels Group (Holiday Inn Potts Point)

 

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers Best Solution of an OHS&E Specific Workplace Risk Award

Winner: Clipsal Australia Pty Ltd (Wingfield Division)

Highly Commended: Gladstone Regional Council
Finalists: Australian National Maritime Museum, CSIRO Livestock Industries (Australian Animal Health Laboratory) and Ipswich City Council

 

Best OHS Training Program Award

Winner: Youthsafe

GIO Best Communication of a Safety Message Award

Telstra Business Excellence through OHS&E Management Award

Winner: Leighton Contractors: Ipswich/Logan Interchange Project
