Wagstaff Piling

Wagstaff Piling is a specialist foundation engineering contractor. The company was formed by John Wagstaff in 1980 and has successfully completed over 5000 projects, encompassing all types of foundations in a variety of ground conditions from a wide range of civil engineering and building applications. The company operates throughout Australia with the most advanced piling equipment available.

In 2008, Wagstaff Piling embarked on the NSCA FiveStar Health and Safety Management System in a bid to achieve a safer and healthier workplace for all their employees. In line with this, the organisation is in the midst of a culture change from one of “absolute safety” to one of “minimal acceptable risk”.

Since embarking on the program, Wagstaff Piling QLD has managed to decrease the number of days lost to injuries by a third which shows a dramatic shift in attitude and work practices by employees.

Wagstaff Piling is committed to achieving the NSCA FiveStar safety rating. Through continually improving its Safety Management System through education and promotion, it is hoped that one day Wagstaff Piling will be seen as a leader in the piling industry for safe work practices.
