Overview

NSCA/GIO National Safety Awards of Excellence is an awards program designed to identify innovative safety solutions, the implementation of best practice OHS&E management systems or the communicatation of a safety message that demonstrates a commitment to workplace health and safety.


The key objectives of the awards are:

  • To recognise high standards of safety by Australian organisations and individuals

  • Promote the winning submissions as examples of best practice OHS  

  • Increase awareness of the NSCA’s vision and commitment to safety.

GIO Award for Excellence in OHS&E
 

Is presented annually, by the judges, for the most outstanding achievement in workplace health, safety or environment by a company or organisation. Category winners are automatically submitted for this pinnacle award.


Nominations for 2010 are now closed. 
 

Winners will be announced at an awards lunch on October 7, 2010 at Dockside, Cockle Bay, Sydney.
